Green Cased Wheel Cut Six Sided small Bowl, Westmoreland, 1920s
Beautiful Small Bowl - This bowl was made in the USA by the Westmoreland Glass company in the 1920s. It has a green cased glass application and a wheel cut edging around the rim. This was apparently decorated by a decorating company and not Westmoreland, because it can be seen on pieces from other companies. Many decorating companies bought blanks from various glass manufacturers and applied the same decoration, selling them under their own name. The white rectangle seen in the photo is my inventory label and not a part of the piece. It is in excellent condition with no damage.
