Fostoria Oak Leaf Brocade Etching, #290; Mold 2398 Large Footed Compote, 12" dia
This footed centerpiece bowl was made by the Fostoria Glass Company between 1928 and 1931. It is clear glass with an etched Brocade pattern called "Oak Leaf", No. 290. It has an unusual foot with a cornucopia appearance. The catalog page shown in the pictures is from Hazel Marie Weatherman's book, "It's First Fifty Years". Because this is a heavy piece, 11 inches in diameter, packaging will exceed USPS 12 inch diameter, so I have included multiple shipping options for your use. No chips or cracks.
