1920s Westmoreland or Heisey 11" Plate Black Cased Band, Enamel Rose Flowers
Elegant early Westmoreland or Heisey Plate - This plate was made in the USA by Heisey of Westmoreland Glass company in the 1920s. It is clear glass with a large star burst in the center on the bottom. It has a Black Cased band on the under side and the upper rim is decorated with enamel painted roses and leaves, and dots. A similar plate was made to hold a center dish and had a depression, but this plate is completely flat on the upper side and makes a wonderfully serving plate. It is in great condition with no damage.
