Rare Hand Painted Nippon Sunbonnet Children’s Pate 6”

Sweet Sunbonnet Children’s Pate - This little 6-1/4” children’s dinner plate which has a theme that I have never seen on Nippon plates before. However, these pieces are referenced in Joan VanPatten’s book. I am listing two plates that are similar, but not identical as they are hand painted. This is the smaller of the two. The back has a green stamp “Hand Painted Nippon” and a wreath with the M in the center (mark 47). This plate has two children including a sunbonnet girl, a dog, and a toy on a green grassy setting. There is gold rim trim. Great condition - no chips or cracks.
